In the past, only 10% of Brazilian companies were interested in using AI in internal communication. However, the scenario has changed dramatically, with 44% of them considering this technology a priority for the coming year.
The survey, which involved more than 200 companies of different sizes, segments and regions, also highlighted gamification as a trend on the rise, with 43% of organizations naming it as a priority. This change represents an evolution from the previous year, when chatbot was the main focus, with 21% of companies paying attention to it.
In addition, the study identified that one of the main challenges for 2024 will be training managers. Although 79% of respondents consider immediate managers to be the most effective form of communication, only 23% of them believe that these professionals play this role effectively. Adequate training for leaders, with an emphasis on developing interpersonal skills, is essential to overcome this challenge.
Other challenges pointed out by the survey include improving data measurement and management (52%), communicating organizational strategy and culture (49%), and ensuring that communication reaches operational audiences (46%).
More generally, there is a growing desire to humanize internal communication, recognizing the importance of understanding the needs and interests of employees in order to provide relevant and meaningful information. This human-centered approach is considered fundamental to the success of corporate communication.
