03 Trends for Training in 2022

We know that life is constant movement and evolution, but the last two years have reinforced that being part of this existence means navigating seas of uncertainty, an invitation to move with flexibility.  


From 2020 to now, new technological tools have presented themselves and gained significant space in the corporate world, in order to meet the demands and challenges facing a different scenario. Now, in 2022, the focus of the corporations has been the employees, their needs and skills. The turn is for team development. To know, recognize and connect human potentialities. 


According to data from the Global Economic Forum, by 2025, at least 50% of professionals will need to develop new skills to stay in the job market. In order to retain their talents, keep the team up to date, and cultivate new skills, companies have sought different ways to provide training to employees.

Co creation 

 

 In the place where only one speaks and the other only listens, it is necessary to incorporate and encourage the protagonism, giving voice to each member of the organization. A space for open dialogues, with constructive exchanges, sharing of ideas, active listening and reflections detached from ego. All this for a common goal.  


When the door to co-creation opens, there is a great chance of increasing the team’s engagement in training, having as results, good ideas and increased performance of those involved. 

 

Make sense 


Do you remember any childhood experiences? Who knows when you learned to ride a bike... or when he got the most desired toy of all time! Maybe that Christmas at his grandparents' house? Certainly there are memories, because they were important moments that strongly aroused your emotions. We call this emotional valence.   


Experiences based on strong emotions have a good chance to combine in memory. Neuroscience, when well applied, is a great ally to training processes. This means that training programs need to make sense to employees. The more one attaches emotional meaning to knowledge, the more motivation one will have for learning. 


The team building programs, with experiential activities, are great options for companies that seek to make sense of training, which generate employee commitment.

This phrase, which is usually attributed to the Greek philosopher Socrates (479-399 BC), makes us reflect on self-knowledge as an important tool to achieve fullness and emotional balance.  


The theory may be old, but the trend remains current. We recently talked about the importance of taking care of mental health and about soft Skills. These themes are super important and are being worked on in 2022 in organizations. 


When a curious eye turns inward, in the search to know and explore better the skills and understand the limits, one can find better paths, get better performance and increase the ability to deal with challenging situations and diversity.   


And what is the role of companies in this journey of self-knowledge of employees? To offer efficient training programs that are related to corporate culture and values and that address topics such as emotional intelligence, trust, resilience and assertive communication. 

 

Every being is powerful and able to deliver incredible results. Institutions that recognize this fact and invest in training and development of their teams, are a step ahead, towards achieving new goals and continuous success.
